To participate in the Nutrition in Medicine® series and work towards becoming certified online, follow these simple steps…
STEP 1 – Visit www.medeorinteractive.com* to order copies of the Nutrition in Medicine® CD-ROM courses you’d like to study. Using this link you can take advantage of special reduced rates offered through the Nestlé Healthcare Professional Site.
STEP 2 - Work through each course at your own pace.
STEP 3 – You must be registered with the Nestlé Healthcare Professional Site to access the online exams. Once registered, you will have the opportunity to take practice exams prior to attempting the final exam for each course.
STEP 4 - To take the practice exams, click on Exams within the Certification Programs section. Select the practice exam you wish to write from the list of those available and follow the directions provided.
STEP 5 - When you feel you are ready to take the final exam, return to the Exams page and select the exam you wish to write. You must complete the final exam within one hour. Please note that if you fail an exam you may not take it again for a period of two months. Final exams may only be written twice per year.
STEP 6 - Continue to work through the remaining courses. For each exam you pass, you will receive, by mail, a “Certificate of Added Qualification” from the University of North Carolina, School of Public Health. The program is also endorsed by the American Dietetic Association.
